Not the best experience

I purchased two camp beds, one was okay and the other was defective. The defective bed had two (of the four) metal side bars that didn't match, they weren't of the same design as traditional 58 pattern camp beds, and the 'female' fixings for the struts didn't align to the holes in the canvas. LMS weren't interested in photographic or video evidence, but did suggest I send it back for assessment. However, the return postage costs more than the item, so it's not resolved.

Quick delivery, and the beds are exactly as described. A bit heavier than modern camp beds, but I'll gladly carry a few extra pounds to sleep in the comfort of a real bed while camping. Will recommend to all my friends.

Fast no fuss service. Beds are in excellent condition and much better than the modern equivalent.. wider making them more comfortable and longer so mu feet aren't hanging off the end, lighter and more compact than the newer concertina type. My son has already claimed the second one!
Ideal for camping, grandchildren sleepovers etc.

Have used these when in the Army and T.A. always
o.k. then. So have used them since. These days have a bit of a struggle getting the straps done up when putting the legs with the bed when it`s all rolled up. (must be getting old).

I have been using a camp bed for many years and I used them in the army. I brought two for a friend as he was very impressed with mine. LMS Lichfield have sold me two excellent used army camp beds, which were delivered quickly and well packaged. I would not hesitate to use the company again.

Having used these camp beds whilst in the Army: (some time ago), found the ones purchased are in really very good condition.They don`t seem to have
been used very much at all. I`m really pleased with them.
