Excellent. Fits back of my Yamaha AV Reciever

My Yamaha AV Reciever has the weird socket requiring this plug to be used.
I wired this up to an extension strip adapter so as to be able to plug in DVD player, Tuner, CD player and Satellite Decoder so that they turn off when I put the AV Reciever on standby. Thanks.

This product was purchased to replace a damaged plug on a Kenwood hifi system. In their wisdom back in the early 90's Kenwood decided to utilise these plugs to connect the various separates together for power, therefore only having one plug going to the wall from the power amp.

I searched high and low for this plug eventually after about a week of searching finding a post on a hifi forum recommending this web site and product as a direct replacement.... Excellent, it works a charm.

Although not cheap at around £7 it works perfectly.

a very difficult item to find elsewhere and costs 4 times as much if you can find one, bit cheap looking but this belies its strength and durability and as you can't see it when it's in use(my application anyway)looks ain't important. Works perfectly with Yamaha amplifiers switched ac outlets and as they no longer supply replacements Lms Lichfield is the only place to go unless you want to pay over 20 quid with p&p for what looks to be the same item, also I doubt it would arrive as quickly.Brilliant item, fantastic price, Whats not to like?

Difficult to find these now. Used in a HiFi application, Kenwood AV amp.

It works fine
